Dont know if my sums are right but I worked this out to......

£9250 pa...
= £177.90 pw
= £4.94 ph

Minimum wage is now £6.08p ph

Its no wonder people want to stay on the dole, who is going to get out of a warm bed for this amount?

Your "sums" are fine Corrie 3 its the PPP sums that's a problem methinks.
Would this job be permitted to be displayed in the Jobcentre as it don't offer the NMW?

If in your calculations corrie 3 you quote

Dont know if my sums are right but I worked this out to......

£9250 pa...
= £177.90 pw
= £4.94 ph What you forgot or missed as per the advert that it is for 30 hours per week £177.90 divided by 30 = £5.93 the legal min wage

Spongeboab wrongly copied 36 weeks in their post but the advert says 30 so care needed to copy the facts.

The advert most definetly did read 36hours to begin with, but someone has obviously noticed their mistake and edited it. :)

I
Spongeboab wrongly copied 36 weeks in their post but the advert says 30 so care needed to copy the facts.

It did originally say 36 hours - did the calculations and exclaimed "What?" myself...

And how we start bitching if some Eastern European turns up and is prepared to get out of bed for £4.90Ph!

I think the irony Spongeboab refers to is the 'care needed to copy the facts'. Surely captain chaos meant 36 HOURS and not WEEKS in his post![lol]
