Yes its safe!
I use the water from the paddling pool and bathwater and the water from the fishtank (when changing it) with no adverse effects!

I just put a small squirt, in a water spray bottle. Is that OK.

Must be..the bathwater has loads of bubblebath, conditioner, shampoo and I suspect at least 1 pee in it by the time I wash and nit comb the kids on a friday night.
If anything it helps wash off the greenfly as the washing up liquid actually helps the water wet the whole plant rather than create droplets, which washes the beasties off and hopefully drowns them easier!

Don't use anti bacterial though, I did once and killed the plants.

fine to use soapy water on plants - when living in England and hosepipe bans always used to syphon the bath water and throw dish water onto garden with no ill effects other than giving the greenfly/white fly a good rinse off the plants, at least it used to keep plants alive rather than have them die of thirst.
As someone says do not use anti- bacterial washing liquid.
