We have a Mira electric shower which has started to lose pressure. Have checked the head, inflow etc. My husband has descaled the heating element with not a lot of scuccess. Any ideas or tips to get rid of the problem.
Put the head of the shower in white vinegar for a couple of hours - that should remove any furring up of shower jets in shower head, rinse out shower head well to ensure bits are all out.

Have you removed the inflow filter and checked it for blockage?

If you're in Caithness then limescale won't be your problem as our calcium levels are low.
Yes should not be a problem with hard water but like over here in Lewis after a while there can be a build up of all sorts of little bits and a soak in vinegar then a good rinse out clears the showerheads fairly well and they spray a more evenly.
