Facebook jumping back to google

Not sure if its just me, but everytime I try to log inot facebook, it shows the front page for a couple of seconds then jumps to google.

I have tried switching off completely but still no better. Not been on laptop for a few days prior to this happening on tuesday.

Very frustrating so any help would be welcome.

Have you tried clearing cookies/cache?
Also have you downloaded anything that might have been passed onto you through facebook?

Make sure the site you are trying to view is www.facebook.com in case its some sort of phishing site.
If you are not technical minded I can help you by remote support if you want?

Thank you very much, facebook now up and working again.

Not sure if I did it properly or if I have caused more problems for the future, but hey ho, time will tell.
