New to site

I've just joined the site. My father was born in Caithness in 1913 and grew up on a croft in Mid Clyth. His name was George Waters. He was illegitimate. I think his mother's name was Helen Waters. I know virtually nothing about his family. As a child I visited the croft which was then run by Jos and Cathy Adamson. Iif my memory serves me right, the croft is just up the road from the Hill o' Many Stones. Jos and Cathy's son Magnus took over the croft but I have no idea if he and his family are still ther. If anyone remembers my father or the Adamsons of Mid Clyth I would be very grateful for any information which would allow me to start researching my family.
