Points of Interest

I have mates coming up in the summer planning up the west coast Ulapool then over Durness / Betty Hill / Thurso / John O groats.

Anyone suggest some good POI on this route for photo taking , stop overs etc.?

Kinlochbervie- great views and a lobster farm
Cape Wrath
Cocoa Mountain at Durness (have the hot chocolate)and the John Lennon Memorial Garden
Smoo Cave
lots of lovely beaches- inc view over Strathy Point

Durness - Cape Wrath -boat trip, bus journey,lighthouse and great guides and fantastic scenery.
Balnakeil beach - quite amazing, miles of clean sand and the craft village, worth a look.
Smoo cave- Huge and a boat trip with Colin the caveman
There is normally lots of sheep being moved on the road - interesting traffic jams.
Tongue - Ben Loyal, the Queen of mountains
Melness - The Craggan Hotel, more than worth a visit and fantastic food.
Bettyhill - Torrisdale Trekking, Horse riding with Lorna Mackay.
Everywhere something to suit all.
