I've just watched the Scottish political leader debate and I was heartened to hear one of the biggest applauses from the audience in response to Alex Salmond's comments regarding the need for ambition for renewable energy though he did seem a bit shallow on a number of issues. I was rather disappointed that Patrick Harvie was not there to give his bit.

What are the most important Election issues to you this year? Sorry but the poll is not exhaustive if you think of something else.

The most important issue to me is that Labour, LibDems and Tories dont get any votes......................

The two parties that are in ascendancy in the most recent polls are The SNP and the Greens, the two parties with the strongest voices on renewable energy.

I just dropped a pin to see where it landed and put a cross in that box! [I'm joking, of course]

Quite honestly, I took a look at how things are here and what things need changing locally. I guess Education and Health were the main things off your list on here, but to me Employment is a bigger local problem that I would like to see addressed.

Yes the Green party are proposing a massive £48 billion investment package to create thousands of green jobs and get people back into work at a time when the other main parties are proposing big cuts in public spending and happy to pay thousands on the dole. Lets get it sorted.

Hmmm, don't think I'll answer the poll as it just seems to be a cheap advert for the Green party!!!

I can't see your reasoning tbh, nothing in the title or poll question to back up your claim.

I see Scottish independence is well down on the priority list on people's minds but if things go the way of the SNP then I will expect a referendum in the next session. I agree with that, let's get the debate over with, have the referendum then we should all get behind the decision whatever that may be and get on with the job of making Scotland a great place to live.

Fixed it for you

Blinking heck! I must admit that was weird - there I stood in the voting booth at Strathy and although my mind wanted to tick 'The Green Party' a strange force overcame me and my pen hovered over the 'Conservative' box.. I had to use all my determination and overcame the impulse and although exhausted, in the end I did do 'the right thing'

I'm afraid I was too confused and obviously not educated enough to put a X in the AV box, so think I left that one, or did I?, I'm still all in a muddle

- But please ducati, don't do that again !
