R4i Gold Card?

Hi.

I've got a Gold R4i card for my Daughter's NDSi, but it just keeps coming up that an error has occurred? It was working fine on a DSi XL, but not on the DSi?? I have tried downloading what appears to be the correct update for the DSi, but still getting an error message? :confused

Anyone any ideas?

Have had problems with dates on some similar cards - winding the date back sorted it. Also is the unit linked up to WiFi? Some DSi's have updated firmware over WiFi and totally stopped these types of cards from working & from then on only genuine cartridges have worked.
