Hi. To view the pictures on my digital camera I've always just connected it via USB and navigated to the folder containing the pics. Easy and simple. Suddenly, and for no obvious reason, this isn't working. After connecting the camera, 'Removable disk M' appears in 'Start/Computer' but disappears after a few seconds.
However, in Control 'Panel/Devices & Printers' the camera seems to be recognised. As you can see from the screenshot, I can't 'browse files' as the 'M Drive' is greyed out. Yet 'Properties' tells me 'This device is working properly'.
I can't understand it. I've done a System Restore to no avail. Can anyone suggest a cause and cure to this problem? Grateful thanks if you can.
