Postage stamps going up by 5p on monday

Just thought I'd share this, I was in the post office this morning and they said all 1st and 2nd class stamps are going up by 5p each as from monday, might be of some help to someone.

According to here (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-12019636), 2nd class only going up by 4p.

Still good value compared to what it would be if there was no Royal Mail / Universal Service Obligation!

Thanks for the reminder about the price increase for stamps Suzy. I went and got some more 2nd class stamps today at the old price. They should keep me going for a while.

Thank you - went to Post Office this afternoon and bought three hundred stamps.
Usually buy them when I go down to wholesaler and get about 20% off but with price rise and not going until end of week might as well take advantage of the saving now.
Also means I do not run out of stamps.
