Samsung phone help please?

Hubbys Samsung S3550 phone got a drop of water on it last night still works but nothing appears on the screen it still rings and accepts texts does anyone know if this can be repaired?

take the battery out and put both it in your airing cupboard or a warm place for 24-48 hrs.
let it dry out really well before putting the battery back in.

try putting in into a bowl of rice as the rice will absorb any water
