I have a question though - I heard the match being advertised as a "testimonial" - does that mean the result doesn't count in the Highland League? I haven't the foggiest clue about football, as you've probably guessed but I do like it when Academy win :D

moira , a testimonial is kind of a friendly , the result doesn't matter its a way for a club to reward a long serving player . the player recieves the gate money from the match , the testimonial year usually has other events like sportsmans dinners and golf days etc.

Thanks for that Dunderheed - that makes it a bit clearer for me. I still don't understand the offside rule though ;)
