I am looking to see if I can borrow one of these or has one they no longer need.My PC died so I replaced the hard drive and PSU, but to no avail :( so I have ordered a new mobo and processor, problem is it's a SATA only board and my DVD Is IDE, the new drive is SATA but I need my DVD drive working to install windows.I would be grateful if someone had one.
Many thanks

no such thing
you'll have to use a USB dvd drive or create a bootable penstick with the ISO OS on it.

Hi Crakeday

ICM here. If you want the instructions to create a USB bootable flashdrive then let us know along with the version of windows you plan to install.

Have an IDE to USB interface which should allow you to boot & install Windows from your DVD drive - would need it back pretty promptly as it's in very regular use, but you're welcome for a lend. Am in Thurso so PM me if you need it.
