The Doctor

Hi,
I have ~8-10year old PC with Clarian Chip that runs a special scientific equipment. It has stopped powering on and although I’ve changed the power pack it is completely dead. I’m wondering if it’s the mother board and would like to see if someone is able to check some of the major circuit on the mother board or even the on/off switch. The computer is specially configured to run with a scientific instrument (hass no HD and boots from a floopy) and it may not be possible simply to swap to another computer. There are a number of old ISA full length card which make it difficult to replace so I’m really looking to see if I can track down the problem before looking at a replacement. My comany is happy to pay for someone's time to have good look at it with a circuit tester.
Thanks, call Simon on 1955 611202 or 07801438719 any time.
