Getting Stuff from goosed laptop

need to get pics and stuff from goosed laptop. Any ideas, have tried connecting to PC and wont work. Advice greatly appreciated

pop the hardrive out and use an external usb carrier/cradle to another pc

you can get them from ebay/cpc/maplins

what the issue with the lappy by the way?

Yeah , the laptop when you sw-on doesnt do anything, you can hear the fan 9normal)nothing on display, HDD light stays lit, can't put discs in . nothing.

pop the hdd out
then try the lappy without it
see if it atleast boots
