Further to my previous thread on Budge/Forbes I wonder if anyone out there could help with two specific members of that family. One is Williamina or Minnie Bain Budge born in Lybster on 1 June 1867. She married Thomas Sinclair from Forss on 16 December 1897 in Cambridge St Glasgow. I believe they emigrated to Canada and I found an entry on a passenger list for 1910. It was for the Athenia, sailing from Glasgow to Mon treal and listed Thomas F Sinclair, traveller, aged 42 Mrs W. Sinclair 42 and four children; Annie 10, James 9, Alex 7 and Thomas 2. My cousin, whose mother was named after the lady , was told that they went to Manitoba. Number two is her brother Alex, born in 1869. He fought in the Boer War and my last record of him is his signature on his father's death cert in 1904. His address is given as Pollock St. Glasgow. I believe it was in the Tradeston district. Any help would be appreciated

Pollok Street appears to have been in the Kingston area of Glasgow, now completely redeveloped - http://tinyurl.com/pollokstreetmap (http://tinyurl.com/pollokstreet)

Pictures are available on Virtual Mitchell Library - http://tinyurl.com/pollokstreetpics

edit - sorry the map is pointing at 333 Paisley Rd West, should be 333 Paisley Rd!
