I know whenever I hear shake-up it's bad news and there seems to be a lot of it.

I owe my life to Monklands A&E, I was taken in feeling slighlty sick and it didn't take them long to work out that it was an eptopic pregnancy at a very critical stage.
Sad to hear its going[disgust]

Afraid that's just one of many such shake-ups. Dunbar in Thurso for example. I imagine, if you felt strongly enough about it (and I suppose you do) you could write expressing your feelings - there's bound to be other folk similarly minded.
Kingetter, i recently did a poll about Dunbar Hospital to see how many people felt there should be an A & E department there and to demand it be restored. you will find it on a previous thread.
