Looking for info on a Harper

My late mother, whose family originated in Caithness, was given a beautiful brooch during the second world war by a lad from Wick by the name of Roddy Harper. My understanding was that he was some sort of distant cousin but I would very much like to know if this is correct and also what happened to him. I believe he was born in 1922, was serving in the Navy during WW2 and may have been the son of Williamina Harper Bremner and William Harper!

Any info to satisfy my curiosity would be much appreciated. My cousin now has the brooch - a yellow gold bar brooch set with a 4 leaf clover with a diamond in the centre (it lost a leaf many years ago).

I think you are looking for Roderick William McKay Harper, born May 10, 1922 in Wick.
His parents were Roderick William McKay Harper and Mary Ann Wallace Bannerman. I am afraid this is all the info I have on him at this time.
