I know from looking at a site that its been -16 in Lancashire,anyone any idea what it been overnight here in Caithness?
We measured -9.4C here in Scarfskerry last night, :confused.

I use Tugs weather site to tell me what min temps we got during nights , 7 stations around caithness area if you choose where you want and scroll down it tells you what the minimum tempreture has been since midnight

At the moment it is -8 here in Thurso. Chilly and it will get colder during the night. Keep Warm and Safe.
it was -13 this morning when i left halkirk at 10 ( or has the car sensor gone mad)
and if the sky is clear tonight the temperatures might plunge!hope you all have had your tank filled up!
The Halkirk weather station showed -12.4 at 8:05 this morning.
The moor between Kirk and Killiminster was -13.5 at 13.30 this afternoon :eek:
-17 down by the river in Halkirk this morning around 9 in the car.
3pm travelling back to Halkirk just before skinnet farm was reading -13.5 aswelll.

Yep,it was pretty baltic out at Harpsdale all day although the lowest anyones car said was -15 this morning and -14 at stopping time.-10 in my garden in Thurso when i got home.
Lovely moonlit night though,perfect for getting some white night shots,if the camera doesnt freeze.
Just had a look this evening and it's -9.6C here in Scarfskerry. I think I'll be going to bed in my track suit tonight,:confused.
Yup it was -10 by the time I got home from Mum and Dads.
I have new jammies..just like Ionas complete with feet and a zip up the middle...cozy, better than my dressing gown for lounging in.
In Wick just now, 9.50pm Tuesday, it is minus nine point two.

It was minus 15.5 half an hour ago between Wick & Castletown. The countryside looked very tranquil and beautiful.

It was -12C in Thurso at 2245 last night - after the High School dance - and hit -15C at Shebster on the way home.

Official lowest met office figure for Wick for past 24 hours was -8.5 at 7am this morning. I'm beside the sea a mile away from the met office station and here it was a balmy -2.
