When stating the thread on caithness.org and handing out poorly made posters to the shops in Thurso, I never expected the club to be as big as it is today. Massive thanks to everyone who has been involved with the club and making it the success it is today.
2011 objectives,
The New Year is going to see the start of the young team. We are going to be rolling out the Caithness Ladies Football Club message in primary schools to get the youth involved. This will allow us to build the team from the bottom up. This will also allow the current squad to give something back to the community by participating as coaches.
2011 Will also see us in our first year as a fully affiliated member of the Scottish Woman’s Football Association. This will allow us to take part in cup competitions and take the Caithness brand of football on the road.
We hope to continue to grow and progress in the New Year and if possible make an impact on the ladies game. The Club has been built for the ladies of Caithness, it’s your club make what you want of it. The progression will continue and you can be a part of it!
If you’re interested in finding out more or where you can sign up you can find us on facebook http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Caithness-Ladies-Football-Club/100509773341468 (http://www.facebook.com/#%21/pages/Caithness-Ladies-Football-Club/100509773341468)
Progressing through unity.
