really liking No's 1&3, not so sure about the colouring in 2
BTW I have now given in to pressure and joined the Canon brigade! Once I work out how to use it I might post something!!

Smart move. You'll love it.Which one did you get?
Not sure about the colour myself either. Was going to mono it but i didnt like the contrast. Cant seem to stop shooting into the sun just now.
Looking for that perfect flare or sunburst. Once my new astronomy gear arrives it'll be night time stuff only for a while(i hope) so the sensor will get a rest from the sun.

I thought it might be but it would be rude to assume ;)
Batteries seem to last forever if you dont use liveview.

well thats the 1st one fully charged and a quick practice and have to say quite happy!
what lens is it that you use for landscapes? I've got 24-105 & 70-200 but eventually want a wide angle. Still have Sony A900 and lenses so not in a huge rush to get one just curious as Canon have so many more lenses than Sony

I use the 17-40 f4 L
Like the first one, low Winter sun against a snow covered landscape really sets the scene, just imagine a horse and carriage going up the lane and you could be back in Dickens time.

Nah,just means i can find everything at the push of a button thanks to a computerised Go To system.Align it to a couple of stars, then tell it what i want to see and off it goes.
Again. Outstanding photography. Like No 1
It's such a pity that snow can be such a flipping pest as it can make everything look so beautiful as you have wonderfully captured (as always) MPH. Lovely!!!
