I also think I need to cut down on the cereals we buy....... currently in our cupboard are......
Cheerios (Daniels favourites so need to buy!)
Weetabix (for me)
Frosties
Shreddies
Sugar Puffs (only if on offer... 96p in Tesco this week!)
Rice Crispies
Coco Pops (only given if they sleep well!)
We tried giving toast for a while but they just wanted the cereal! Maybe if I reduced the cereals to 3 options they may consider branching out to toast and fruit!!!

A typical week for us is.....
Tues : Beef Stew
Wed: Spag Bol/meatballs & pasta
Thurs: Pork steaks, pots & veg
Fri : Fish with pots and veg or chips
Sat: Pizza or Sausages for kids, curry for us!
Sun: Roast Chicken/Pork/Beef
Mon: Chow mein/Stir fry with left over sunday meat
Lunches are all sandwiches & fruit or egg on toast/beans on toast type meals!
I make my own muesli from porridge oats, some seeds and dried fruit like raisins.
Lunch is usually a couple of sandwich rolls, some grapes, a tomato (for the Lycopene) and a biscuit.
Evening meal will be something from Jamie Oliver's 30 min meals - perhaps piri-piri chicken legs with a simple salad.
Breakfast is generally weetabix, ready Brek or porridge or toast.
The Bruce takes cheese and ham sandwiches for lunch, babies might have a picky platter, cheese, a wee sandwich, fruit, raisins and a biscuit or sausage rolls or last nights leftovers. I like a salad, beetroot, eggs or something similar for lunch.
This last week dinners have been
Wednesday - nigella's pork knuckle in beer - revised a bit lol.
Thursday - tartiflette - a bacon and potato and cheese thing
Friday - chilli and rice with nachos.
Saturday - steak and kidney pie (home made) thought it was a bit dear cos meat cost £8+ but there was loads. It fed all four of us grown ups and the babies the next day and there was plenty.
Sunday - meatballs tomato sauce and spaghetti
Monday- chicken and pepper casserole with rice
Tuesday - soy braised pork with rice and stir fried veg
Weekend also meant sausage butties for lunch for the boys and i made cream of onion soup and soda bread for lunch on Sunday.
Breakfast: 2 double sausage & egg Mcmuffins
Lunch: Large Big Mac meal
Dinner: Chicken Madras, veg. rice, Keema naan, onion bhajis, veg. pakora
Late snack: Bacon roll
*No need to plan it, have the same every day. :)
