Anybody from Caithness done the deep sea diving courses at the diving training centre at Fort William?
Fortwilliam are one of the World Leading training centers for underwater training, Diving and ROV courses. Any cert you gain from training there will be well recognised world wide.

Yup, did my HSE Comm diver course there about five years ago.
If you've got any queries, fire away, I'll see if I can help you out.

No, I happen to find the information one need off the Fortwilliam deep sea diving centre website, thanks anyway!
Good luck to you.
I have the utmost respect for "sat" divers working in the north sea. Hard work which I don't envy. One minute they're inspecting a pipeline, the next they're welding a leaky flange. Multi-skilling to the extreme.
Many of the jobs have been replaced by ROV's, but the divers are still needed for the technical stuff.
The rewards are good, but the risks are great. Again, good luck to you.
