Help with Samsung Galaxy GT-I7500

For some to me unknown reason the dialpad doesn't work anymore - when calling voicemail and wanting to push a certain digit for a voicemail function the pad doesn't react to a touch. I even have to push the menu button to view the dialpad and cannot move it via touching the relvant tab.

Any idea what happened? Did I accidently push a button to disable it?
