Headlines are full of warnings about rising council tax prices. The oil execs warn that even in the south, petrol will be over £1 per litre. This will impact on prices for everyone, and no doubt interest rates may rise. What measures are prudent orgers taking to ensure they don't end up in financial difficulties?
Surely our councillors should be taking this on board- along with the need for better, affordable public transport?
Or is the answer to clone the traffic warden and think of lots of fines to make up the difference? How about a litter warden, with a £10 on the spot fine? Or a chewing gum monitor?
