I received the following information from someone in London, and asked if I could find out anything about the family.
My grandmother was Mary Mackay, daughter of Catherine Mackay and Donald Mackay.
Donald Mackay married a Jane Morgan in 1868 at Halkirk and had 7 children. Jane Mackay died aged 39 on 3.21889, and is buried at Watten. My great grandmother Catherine Mackay died on January 1st 1898 and is also buried at Watten, my nan Mary Mackay was only three years old. In the 1901 census, Donald is living at Tister House with four of his children, Donald has two more children but they died as babies, and Donald Mackay died at West Murkle on 18.9.1931 age 84.
Does anyone have any information on what happened to Donald Mackay's and Jane Mackays (Morgan) children, as I have only information on David Mackay.
