Just wondering, who is actually taking this holiday? Only the Post Office in Thurso seem to be shut.

The Post Office is closed..........The place where you collect your Pension is Closed........The Place where you post Letters and Parcels is closed..........The place where you collect any Benefit is Closed.............Oh wait a Minute they ate all the Same Place.........The Post Office.......So the answer is Just the Post Office, Sad it is. :roll:

I should think that any business choosing to close on this day would have more sense with such an important event going on in the County.
I think these silly archaic, occasional holidays should be a thing of the past and the days added on to employees anual leave.

Staffing levels are a joke in Thurso Post Office. Queues are horrendous every time I go in there.
