Success for Highland Swimmers at National Event
At the weekend members of The Highland Swim Team attended the UK School Games in Sunderland with two young swimmers from Tain and Thurso coming home with awards. Sixteen year old Rona Plowman from Thurso, who is currently part of the Scottish Youth Development squad, came 3rd in the 50 metre free style race with a time of 27.85 secs and 5th in the 100 metre free style with a time of 1.00.73. ...
