It has been announced that Sarah'e Law will be extended to another eight police area's.
My initial thoughs are that although it is good in theory (like most laws) all it will do is force convicted paedophiles underground.
Chief Constable Paul West of the Association of Chief Police Officers (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-10827669) said it "was realistic to think people would keep information to themselves."

How long will it be before we hear about a paedophile suing a police force for releasing information about them, which outraged people have acted on and attacked said person.
Sounds impossible? who would have thought that the Soham killer would be able to sue the prison service for failing in its "duty of care"
