Remember the Garrison and the Planet Sonny.[evil] First rock band to play in Shetland. TV arrived that same weekend. I have never been back.

I was a Saturday night regular at the Planets in the summer of 1960, I was working on the St Magnus for the summer season, fond memories of a couple o the lassies, especially "Wee Heavy" and "Babycham"

Aye it was in 1964 we played in the Planets. So many people that we could not get off the stage at the break. Fond memories indeed!
The Highland Archive is always a good read ;)
