Its fun chasing bees around a field. But even more fun when one sits still for 2 seconds.

Funny thing, I have a shrub in my garden, Im embarrased to say I dont know what its called, having studied Horticulture for three years, but it attracts so many bees this time every year that it buzzes continuously with dozens of them doing there thing virtually all day long. This year however, theres only a few at any one time as opposed to between 12 and 15 at any one time last year. Seems the winter and those pesky mites are having a detrimental effect on our friends the beers.

LOL I am hopin it was just a typo but hey . . .

It is very sad to read that you are seeing less bees JM. I walk a fair bit and see many dead bees on the ground - it does may one think.

I must have had beers on the brain. ....However a few days after writing that on the thread they all appeared as if by magic and there were dozens of them all over the shrub. Maybe they missed last orders!;)
