Yea it was great cheers, fantastic countryside and frendly folks. We loved it and fancy a camper of some sort...its just like a metal tent realy.
Bubbles was a loner from my brother....dead handy.
Love bubbles there is just something about vw campers that is so appealing i am dead jealous. Cracking photos.
I agree tootie - I really fancy a wee holiday jaunt in one of those! :)
They are a bit slow up hills and not good at slowing down hill!! Pulling over to let endless streams of bikes past i knew where my heart realy lies!!.....mind you when you have a view like this of Balnakeil beach for a couple of days, soft seats and head room......mmmm must be getting soft in my old age...hehe.

Hi dafi
Great shot.
Looks like Stig Of The Dump sat on that nest, the birds must have scoured the beach looking for all the old rubbish they could find to build it. The bird looks like it's lit by torchlight or something similar, you've caught the reflection in it's eye, was it nesting in a cave.
nirofo.
We were on a RSPB boat trip round Mull Head and in and out of the caves.
The back light is a torch from the front of the boat and the fill in flash is from the camera in the stern. The camera is just my wee Cannon 590.
The colour in the caves was fantastic!!
Amazing shot - thanks for posting!
We have been having a bit of an aeronautical experience tonight. It was very entertaining…..I want a spitfire now….I rode home whistling the theme tune from 633 squadron….hehe

We were at the Scottish sealife center the other day and i took the oppertunity to take some shots of the bridge. I have allways wanted to get back there for a photo, fantastic place for a wander.

Wow you have almost made the bridge look like there is no scaffolding on it!
That is a great bridge pic! I also like your Balnakiel one further up.
Cheers you two. I have been doing the panorama program to death a bit this last while tho.
This is a shot of a kirk i took on wednesday along the north coast.

Spotted flycatcher.
Cracking shot of the spider.
You been down by The Barriers? Some great rusty metal in that area.
I was thinking Marwick Bay with Kitcheners Monument in the background, if so it has quite a tragic WW1 history with bits of HMS Hampshire still washing up ?
Aye its Marwick bay but its not a bit of the Hampshire. It probably has a bit of a tragic history though.
You dont break the heart of a ship on the shore with out breaking hearts on shore.
Here it is put to better use.

Skulls
Hi Dafi
Great seal shot, but the skulls? Excellent shot in b/w, but I've got to ask, you're not collecting them for some sort of ancient druid ritual are you ??? I mean, you're surrounded by the stones man and I see you're into this alignment of the planets and following the night sky stuff. HMMM !!!
nirofo.
They belong to a mate who has collected them from wanders in the hill. Its the ones with pentacles and black candles you have to watch i think!!!. I was over feeding his animals and killing time waiting for Redpoles to appear when thought i would just take a few snaps of them to see how they would come out. They had a macarbe sort of feel that i thought would do well in black and white.
If i was going to sacrifice something then it would have been one of the hens, i cant see them making good soup...hehe
