Opinion's on this?
The police did a reconstruction and found that he wasn't at fault and the woman had, possibly, cut in front of him onto the motorway. As they said, she was effectively undertaking.

If you've ever driven a large truck you will know your left side is one of the worst blind spots, hence why some have a multitude of mirrors looking down over the door, and that someone coming in from a slip road too close to you wil not always be seen.

My opinion is that the Clio driver cut in front the truck in a hurry to get ahead and paid the price. Note that the article said that incident was captured on a mobile phone camera.

As a matter of interest, what would your opinion be, since you're asking others?

Well, maybe not in depth in the traditional sense and as reconstructions go we just made up our own versions and then slagged each others off, as we do on here.
Outrageous really.

Personally,no driver would do this on purpose! He is a professional driver and although people's initial reaction's are to blame the lorry driver (just because hes pushing a car along) i think there are 2 sides to every story,if he was found to be careless driving or at fault he would have been punished,i havn't driven a lorry/heavy goods vehicle so i could not comment on your point of undertaking etc. It is everyday life and strange things do happen.I can see what you mean by trying to get ahead in a rush!
