Wanting help yet again !

What does it mean when I get this window :
One or more active X controls could not be displayed because either :
(1) Your current security settings prohibit running active X controls on this page. OR (2) You have blocked a publisher of one of the controls.
As a result the page might not display correctly. My PC's operating programme is Vista.
Any advice will be gratefully received, thanking you in anticipation.

Assuming you are using IE.

Click on TOOLS - INTERNET OPTIONS then the SECURITY Tab.

Ensure it set at INTERNET and have a fiddle with the security level slider for that zone. "Medium High" should probably be sufficient.

(If my assumption is incorrect and its not happenning with a browser window - it might be an e mail thing you are running - then can you advise exactly what you are attempting to do).

Well Charlie,
I did as you told me : Ensured it was set at INTERNET and had a fiddle with the security level slider up & down. Put it back to where it was at "Medium High" Then having changed nothing I find the offending window has disappeared !!! Hope I wont be back in a few days saying "Oh its come back" !! Thank you for your help.
