Can anyone recommend a good Wild Flower Reference Book. Preferrably one covering British Wild Flowers more so.
I see all these lovely colourful flowers and different grasses when out in the countryside and I have no idea what the majority of them are and the purposes they serve ie medicinal !

I have "A Field Guide in Colour to Wild Flowers" in hardback version but think it is available in paper back too.
Always find it excellent for reference.

Thank-you phoenix, its years since i seen white heather, love it when we are driving down to inverness, and u see the hills alive with beautiful purple heather.
