Wow seems like they have decided its safe to fly again.
Good news......but for how long?
I really am not at all sure anything much has changed. As I have said, I don't need to fly but if I did, I might be a bit reticent just now.
Yeah, good news for all those who are stranded abroad.
BA made some 'negotiations'
How many threads do we need on the same topic?
Yep, so what has changed is the application of international rules that say AVOID, AVOID, AVOID regarding ash clouds, to new rules that say it is all tickity boo
BBC interview on telly this morning with some bloke.
How's that for a source?

On Union St earlier the Evening Express seller had a headline on his board that read "Chopper in Ash Drama", maybe thats why.
Spoke to an old workmate still stuck Offshore with loads of guys wanting to know when they are getting home. I could almost hear the veins pop in his head as I spoke to him !!, been there and done it though. Cant be pleasant.
You'll be laughing if you have done 21 days and they dont let you outside (or is that still just Shell ??), money for nothing.

I read a thing a couple of days ago that listed a lot worse problems than that. Transplant organs that couldn't be shipped to the recipient, dead bodies waiting to be sent to their home countries for burial, farmers in the Med and S Africa having to throw away fruit and veg that can't go to Northern Europe (and maybe going out of business), people being laid off from jobs for lack of parts. Quite a shambles.
