Alright, its starting to get annoyin now.

Constantly people are still getting booted out the chat room in the middle of the quiz. Tonight everybody got booted out at the same time.

Any fixes that can be done techie folks?

I think thats why the quiz died before,everyone fed up of the site crashing. The new server was meant to stop it happening,it obviously hasn`t. Mik.

Well its not very often i get booted, but some other people were out and in constantly. Felt bad for them.

Shelley the solution is not to have the Google Search window open as well as the quiz room window, it overloads the system [lol]

I can't get into the chat room at all now. I just get an error message so haven't been in for a few weeks now. Any ideas folks?

The chat has never worked right, I got fed up being booted. Apparently it was a problem with your own broadband speed, but mine is fast now and still getting booted even if I close everything else.

Maybe we should try an external chat for the quiz ?

Might be worth dropping Bobinovich or Niall Fernie a PM to see if they can help you.

What sorta external chat could we use? For one to be used through the org that would take a while to set up.

Sorry Stefan, I have used chat for a good few years now, and apart from a short time when there was a problem with the Org's server, I can honestly say I have had very little problem with being booted. keeping my fingers crossed now!!! [lol]

I have never had a huge problem wi being booted from chat but I have had problems in the set up! It would suddenly change settings and to really haywire if I tried to fix them. Currently I have a problem with the page not staying steady! I have to "catch" the slider at the side of the page and steady it before I can get it to stay steady. If my cursor then drifts to the edge of the page it starts the page wavering again!

Let's face it - the Org chatroom is unstable - in more ways than one!!! ;)
