cutting off

Why does my computer keep cutting off as soon as I am connected? It is really annoting. I get connected to tiscali then it switches off. Usually 3 attempts to get it to stay on. Help please?

1st i'd run the on line scanner here

type in your postcode and it should give you lots of info on how your exchange is performing etc.

When you go online do you check e-mails using Outlook Express first? It could be that the 'Hang up after sending and receiving' option is ticked. To find out start Outlook Express then click Tools > Options > Connection tab and see if the 2nd box is ticked, if so then untick it and click OK.
