What a fantastic shot.

Is that just one photo, or several stitched together?

I thought you would be off takin shots round the Strathnaver estate now yer "hanging" in Dunrobin! You will be too good for this common photography section once Lord S tells his pals and they all ask for commissions!

Seein as you are still here tho - FABBY SHOT!!! :D

Oh thank you so much for dedicating that panorama to me, MPH! It's absolutely beautiful, and so serene! Makes me want to go to Orkney all the more! I haven't been having a good day so far, but your fantastic panorama has cheered me up!! :D

What a lovely pic.

Stromness is a very interesting place to visit, even for a day trip.

Your very welcome Sporran.
I always think that Stromness looks like a Scandanavian town at the mouth of a fjord
especially in the low early morning light.Really enjoyed the climb up the hill and just stood looking for ages, something magical about the light.
