Error 1406 what do I do ?

The following window appears every time I try to open a document in "My Documents" or even the "Word" programme. Please can someone tell me how I can sort this problem.

Error 1406 set up cannot write the value to the registery key\HWXink E-ink Verify you have sufficient permissions to access the registery or contact your computer manufacturer's product support for assistance.
