yes , that was a truely sad day for all involved with the offshore industry.
i don't think any of us can say our heart didn't stop for a second when that news came through.
my oh left for work on the rigs that same day and was sitting in the heliport as it happened.
not one man wanted to go on their flight for obvious reasons.
never been so frightened in all my life.
those poor men and families.
rest in peace x

I was there on Miller when it happened, it was a terrible terrible day, 1that none of us will ever forget . Theres a service for the guys today at St Nicholas kirk in Aberdeen .
