help/info needed

Hi,can anyone tell me if they or if they know someone who has got a mortgage on a prefabracated home and if so who with , any help would be very grateful.:)

I think you'll find that it is nigh impossible as the expected life of a prefab was considerd not to be very long.

Even though some of them have been extensively updated, the mortgage providers haven't been!

Hi,
I spoke to the guy from Pollards re this. You can get a mortgage on a prefab but you have to build another layer on it within a specified time. On the house I was looking at, this meant altering the windows and the roof, so all in all was a big, expensive job. It would have been as cheap to build new.
