View Full Version : The Last Sunday in February
Following on from my last post (Grey day architecture), I was out and about on Sunday where the skies were much more to my liking. Decided on a return visit to Sannick Bay and then good old John O'Groats (before the celebraties invaded on their bikes!). Here's a small selection.

really like the stones in the first pic.
I like your seashore photos, but your logo is really intrusive on all your pics.

love #2&5 Deemac, very nice. Agree about the logo, smaller or blended more to the shot would be better :D

Not a lover of logos either but if its a business,as Deemacs is,then why not.Nothing wrong with free advertising.Do find it a bit pointless otherwise.
The JoG ones are great, like the Topaz Adjust treatment.
Yep I love the rocks in the first pic too :)

My fav is #2. I'm not a fan of too much playing about on Photoshop, which seems to be the fashion these days, but that's only my opinion. I prefer more reality.
I'm interested to know how the effect is achieved in the last two pictures of John 'o Groats, they remind me of old picture postcards.

Lizz, these are 3 part HDR images (Auto exposure bracketed - AEB - (-2, 0 +2), processed (Tone mapped) in Photomatix then re-processed using a plugin in Photoshop CS4 called Topaz Adjust.
