    Is there a Hogmanay street party in Wick this year?

    There certainly is, Evelyn...weather permitting, of course. The party gets underway around 10.30pm with the band, Chicken Pickers and also featured will be the Harvey Brothers. Wrap up well. Helping to keep the cold out, this year, will be hot food.

    We rather the bonfire at the Bignold park, but the young folk like the street party.

    a big thank you to The Chicken Pickers and the Harvey Brothers and other pipers who played superbly a great selection of Scottish and other music well into New Year's Days.
    Hope you guys had some heating up on that stage
