    Spotted two groups close together at Corsback today, presumably heading South. I think they're Whoopers but can some clever person please confirm or correct me. There must have been about 40 of them.

    Sure are whooper Swan, hundreds passing through this last week, a few may winter here while others head further south. They are stunning birds.

    Lovely Pictures and I saw some yesterday heading out of Reiss and there was 6 or 7 of flying pretty low

    I saw about 100 swans, some huge and geESE at Reiss too, had to get out ND LOOK AT THEM, THEY ARE SO BVEAUTIFUL.
    Live for today as tomorrow may never come

    I love swans, they are beautiful and I almost fell over when I was in australia and there were black ones! I never knew you could get black ones (so sheltered!) and they are just as stunning.

    I had forgotten about the black swan lurking on my hard drive this one was quite tame and curious.
