    My Grandmother used to send down salted herring to my father in the old Smiths crisp tins, and when my uncle George came on holiday my dad and uncle George would sing Tatties and Herring, Ive got it on a, tape, reel to reel back in the 50s. Can anyone remember the song??????

    Just go to You Tube and type in Tatties and Herring in the search box, and you should be able to hear a recording of the song by The Gaugers.
