As long as you have a cheap meter and the instructions for the motor you should be able to do it yourself.
What is always emphasised is that it is ESSENTIAL to get the mounting pole absolutely vertical and strong.
I did my own with a USALS motor and 90cm dish and it works well although perhaps mine was easier because I mounted it on the garage, so I was able to have a satellite receiver and portable TV on the roof of the garage to assist alignment (the cheap satellite meters don't tell you if you're pointing at the correct satellite).

If you have a USALS motor and a 1.2m dish then see if you can find a sheltered location that can "see" all the satellite arc you want. I've installed 80cm fixed dishes for my stepson - we're on the 3rd one which is now a mesh dish because the first 2 were ripped off their mounts (and the first mount got trashed as well)!
I'm glad I actually bought a 90cm dish to go with a USAL motor rated at 1.2m (and there were no planning problems with that dish size) as the robustness makes up for the motor working slower.
