Default Burning the Candle at Both Ends

Must be nuts, but then I'm sure you all already knew that!

Dunnet Beach, crica 11.05 pm last night.

For those of you who are interested in the technical bit, Auto exposure mode, 3 stop ND grad filter over the sky to try and balance the exposure a bit, ISO 200.

Thurso Beach at circa 4.35 am this morning (I tend to wake up with the sunrise, and am in work for 6.00 am)

Technical bit, manual exposure, underexposed by 1 stop, no filters, ISO200.

    Now when's the longest day?

NL, sunrise shot is wonderful. Like MPH I too went to bed about 3am and it was almost daylight. Just love this time of year. Glad I don't start work at 6am (8am is bad enough)

Both photos are absolutely stunning, NL!!

I really miss those long summer days in Caithness, when it never really gets dark!
I am living for today, always remembering yesterday, and looking forward to tomorrow!
