Talking Can you Identify these Photographs, Prize if you can

Pasted below are three photographs. To win the Competition all you have to do is to Identify the year and what thay are of.

There will be a prize for the winner, A CD with Photographs of all the Exhibitions on it, a total of 422 Photographs, some in Black and White and some in Colour. Also on the CD will be a decsription of the Exhibitions on a Word Document

    Here are some clues

They are each in a seperate decade
Each decade is consecutive to the last one
Each one is a Photograph of a special Exhibition.
No Photograph was taken before the begining of the 2nd World War
2 exhibitions were in Glasgow and one was in London

    Default Exhibition Photo Quiz

My answers don't meet with your clues, but I will have a go.

    Pic. A Glasgow Exhibition 1911
Pic. B British Empire Exhibition 1924-25 Wembley, London
Pic. C Empire Exhibition 1938 Glasgow

If I remember correctly my late father attended the Glasgow Empire Exhibition. Must have a look to see if I can find a photo.

One of the clues says that "No Photograph was taken before the begining of the 2nd World War". That means none of them would pre-date 1939, and yet looking at what the people are wearing in the first photograph it would seem that it was taken long before then, possibly somewhere between 1910 and 1930.

You was the first with the correct answers, PM me you Name and address and I will post the CD to you, Well Done.

I can see that this was far too easy either that or I gave too many clues for all you Bright Orgers.

I will rethink and try to come up with a harder competition.

Since this has been won I will close this thread.

I am now thinking of another type of Competition.
