    Default Christmas Star Clusters

A few festive star clusters taken through a telescope that was rapidly icing up.....

the Christmas Tree Cluster (NGC 2264)

can you see the tree shape?

M44 also known as the Beehive or the Manger

    See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beehive_Cluster for more info.

Both are just visible to the naked eye as hazy patches and are lovely sights through binoculars or a small telescope.
